Also the keyword should appear in the body at a 1-3 % keyword density. Also try to get the keyword in an H1 header and bolded once in the body too. Do not overdo it though. Off page optimization involves primarily getting keyword anchor text backlinks, ideally from authority sites. You can do this by writing articles and submitting them to directories with the keyword anchor text link in the signature box. Also you can take part in reciprocal linking and submitting your site to directories. Search Engine Optimization is a continuous process so take it slow and do a little each day and over time you should get good results.
