When it comes to the search box it is a good idea to not use it unless your site is a directory type site. The revenue from the search box is very low and is not worth it. Also mix up the positioning of the ads on your site if you can. This will help with repeat visitors who may recognize where the ads are and will always ignore them but if you change things up a bit they are sure to notice the ads much more. Another good tip is to make sure each of your adsense pages are focused tightly on a specific keyword. This will draw the most relevant ads. If your ads are relevant and on topic, and your visitors notice your ads, you are bound to get many clicks and good click through rate. The size of the text on your site can also have an impact on the effectiveness of your adsense ads. Try to get your text size to be as close to the size of the adsense ads as possible. This will help to get your ads to blend in with your content and make it appear more natural. Another useful adsense tip is to turn of image ads in your adsense account. The problem with image ads is that they are often untargeted and many people just tend to ignore them because they stand out too much as an ad.
